Meals for the Home bound

The Raritan Valley YMCA and The Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services have teamed up to provide a robust public awareness campaign for seniors. This week, we make you aware of meals for the home bound.

Home Delivered Meals – are available for isolated homebound seniors who have no formal or informal caregiver and are unable to attend a congregate meal program. The recommended fair share contribution is $2.75 for home-delivered meals. To register call 732-745-2062. We also offer a daily vegetarian menu and accommodate specialized diet for diabetics. .We have virtual and YMCA based sessions to reduce stress, anxiety and get your questions answered. Located at 144 Tices Lane in East Brunswick, the Y has a selection of exercise options and wellness programs for the caregiver.
