“4-H still has strong ties to animals and farming, but today, the programs also focus on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering and technology,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the Business Development and Education Committee. “No matter what your interests are, there’s a place for you in 4-H!”

“One of the most valuable things about our 4-H programs is their commitment to service projects,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “These include cleaning up neighborhoods or assisting with local food pantries. All of 4-H’s projects go a long way toward improving our communities. 4-H also provides our students with important life lessons, such as public speaking, leadership and responsibility.”
