Fatal N.J. Turnpike Crash In Cranbury: Victim ID'd; Details Released
One person died and another was seriously hurt in a two-car crash on the NJ Turnpike Thursday morning that shut down two lanes, police said.
One man was killed and another was seriously injured in a two-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday morning, police said.
Six people were involved in the crash that happened at 5:41 a.m. in the southbound lanes. Abdelrahman Gadalla, 22, of Franklin Park was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
A Honda Accord and a Honda CR-V collided in the inner roadway at milepost 69.3 in Cranbury, and one of the cars struck the guardrail between the inner and outer roadways and then overturned, police said.

The driver of the Accord was taken to Capital Health System-Fuld Campus in Trenton in an unknown condition, according to police. Occupants of the Honda CR-V were not injured.
WABC-TV provided a video of the aftermath of the crash, which shut down two southbound lanes. The road has since reopened.
