Native American Heritage Celebration & Pow Wow In Middlesex County

The event will be held at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick with over 500 artists, educators, singers and dancers.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Over 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers and performing groups from across the country are in East Brunswick for a cultural celebration.

The Raritan Pow Wow is a full contest, that will be held at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road, on Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be over 40 artists booths selling crafts, jewelry, food and more. You can indulge in some authentic Indigenous cuisine like buffalo burgers, venison stew, corn soup and more.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to interact with representative from tribes including the Lakota, Mohawk, Seneca, Cherokee, Aztec, Mayan Samoan and Hawaiian. There will also be a tipi raising.

The event is being organized by the Redhawk Native American Arts Council is a non-profit organization founded and maintained by Indigenous American artists, performers, and educators living in New York and New Jersey.
