New Cancer Care Center Opens In East Brunswick’s ‘Medical Mile’
Astera Cancer Care opened a new location at 629 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Over the past few years, East Brunswick has been encouraging medical facilities to come to town, with hopes of boosting its “medical corridor.”
Recently, Astera Cancer Care opened a new location at 629 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick.
Mayor Brad Cohen, Assemblyman Sterley Stanley, Councilmembers Kevin McEvoy, Dana Winston and Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman were present for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Cohen said he was proud to see the growth of East Brunswick’s “medical mile,” bringing sophisticated facilities like Astera to residents.

"Cancer affects 1 in 3 people. Ten minutes away from home, there's a professional caring team of doctors and nurses who have access to research that can cure many of the diseases that we couldn't touch years ago," Salwitz said.
Astera has a team of board-certified medical oncologists who provide state-of-the-art cancer and hematology care.
They also provide advanced services for a broad range of blood disorders like - anemia, leukemia, sickle cell disorder and more complex hematological problems.
