New Cricket Field Expected To Be Ready By Fall In East Brunswick
The field will be located across the dog park at Heavenly Farms.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The township’s new cricket pitch and field is expected to be ready by fall.
During the last Council meeting, Councilwoman Dana Zimbicki gave an update on the project. The new field will be located across the dog park at Heavenly Farms.
“Right now, they are working on investigating materials. These fields will be lit, they will also have irrigation. Most likely they will be ready in the fall. But it will be the next season because it’s a huge project,” Zimbicki said.

“Thank you for helping us build a designated pitch and cricket ground that will get young people to come and grow professionally in the sport,” Chaliawala said.
Councilman Kevin McEvoy said he hoped the project can be completed in the fall as it “would be a wonderful way to wrap up the old year.”
