At least 12 children were hurt in a New Jersey school bus crash that also involved a NJ Transit bus, police said.

The crash happened Monday on NJ-18 and Eggers Road, and emergency responders were on the scene as of 10:20 a.m., according to RLS Media.
The crash happened between a school bus and a NJ Transit bus after 9 a.m. on the southbound side of Route 18.

The children on the bus were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, with most of them to be released to their parents there. The most serious injury appears to be a broken leg, according to ABC7.
