NJDOT Grants $500K To East Brunswick For Resurfacing Tices Lane
The grant will help resurface parts of Tices Lane that are not already part of the Redevelopment Agreement, Mayor Brad Cohen said.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Transportation has awarded East Brunswick $500,000 to resurface part of Tices Lane.
The funds will be released under the Transportation Trust Fund, Mayor Brad Cohen said.
The grant will help resurface parts of Tices Lane that are not already part of the Redevelopment Agreement.

“This will cover parts of Tices from Ryders Lane to University. Whatever is not covered by the grant will be part of the 2023 Pavement Plan,” Cohen said. “Another promise made and kept.”
The Mayor thanked state representatives, the Township’s Department of Planning and Engineering, Economic Development Officer Robert Zuckerman and Business Administrator Joseph Criscuolo for their work.

Work is expected to be completed next fall. The remaining sections of Tices Lane will be constructed by developed as required by the Township’s Planning Board approval.
