North Brunswick Burglar Caught, Police Say

This New Brunswick man broke into several homes along Rt. 130, North Brunswick police say. He was arrested Monday, Oct. 16.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — North Brunswick police say they arrested a New Brunswick man who broke into several homes and businesses along Rt. 130.

The man was arrested Monday, Oct. 16. North Brunswick police were called to multiple burglar alarms going off at homes and businesses along Rt. 130 Monday afternoon. While checking the area, police found multiple residences had been broken into.

At one of the homes, police found video surveillance of the suspect and a short time later, they located Kenny Najera, 22, of New Brunswick. He appeared to be the same person as in the video surveillance. He was taken into custody and found to have burglary proceeds on him.

Najera was charged with multiple counts, including burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was remanded to the Middlesex County Department of Corrections.
