Old Bridge Woman Gives Both Middle Fingers In Defiant Mugshot
An Old Bridge woman is charged with breaking into Spotswood cars, and her mugshot will go down as one of the most defiant of all time.

SPOTSWOOD, NJ — An Old Bridge woman is charged with breaking into multiple Spotswood cars, and her mugshot released by Spotswood police will likely go down as one of the greatest — and most defiant — of all time.
Spotswood police released the mugshot and news of her arrest Monday morning, Feb. 11: Spotswood police say that over the past few months, they've been getting "numerous" reports of cars being broken into on Janice Drive.
One resident was able to capture home security footage of a woman trying to break into their car on Jan. 13 and again on Jan. 27, police said. The homeowner gave that video to the police, who shared it on their Facebook page (see below).

Then at 1 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, a Spotswood patrolman said he observed the woman pictured, Shana A. Hilsman of Old Bridge, walking onto a resident's driveway while wearing the same distinguishable clothing as in the January home surveillance footage. He stopped her, and Hilsman was found to be possession of numerous burglary tools, including a screwdriver, hammer and the same flashlight seen on the surveillance videos, police said.
She was placed under arrest at the scene and charged with burglary, criminal trespassing and possession of burglary tools. She was take to the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center.
