Old Bridge Woman Owes $17,500 in EZ Pass Tolls, Police Say
She drove through EZ pass 270 times without paying, said Port Authority police, who stopped her Monday outside the Lincoln Tunnel.

OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, NJ - This Old Bridge woman was stopped Monday morning at the Lincoln Tunnel and it was discovered she owed a whopping $17,500 in EZ pass fines. At about 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 10, Tara Paczkowski was seen by Port Authority police driving a 2014 Nissan eastbound in a marked EZ pass lane at the Lincoln Tunnel.
She was pulled over after she passed through the EZ pass lane without paying. She could not produce an EZ pass transponder. An investigation by Port Authority police checking EZ pass records revealed that she had incurred violations amounting to over $17,500 in unpaid tolls and fines, all from running tolls an incredible 270 times, police said.
Paczkowski, 33, of Old Bridge Township, was charged with theft of service and theft by unlawful taking. Her Nissan was impounded. Port Authority police officer Nick D'Aostino led the investigation.
