Police Take Part In No Shave November Fundraiser In East Brunswick

The East Brunswick Police Department is looking to raise $2,500 from this year's campaign.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Officers from the East Brunswick Police Department will be participating in No- Shave November to raise funds for cancer treatment and research. Police Chief Frank LoSacco has relaxed the department’s grooming policies to allow officers to participate by donating and growing facial hair.

Started in 2009, the No-Shave November movement encourages people, businesses, and organizations to forgo shaving in November to honor of cancer patients. The aim is to create awareness about cancer.

Participants ditch their razors and encourage friends, family and well-wishers to donate money for cancer treatment and research.
