'Positive Role Model': Mayor Praises East Brunswick 1st Grader
Jaiden Ingle was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the council for being a positive role model.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A first-grader from Irvin Elementary School was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for being a positive role model to the community.
Jaiden Ingle had written a letter to Mayor Brad Cohen recently asking him fix the crosswalk signal on Summerhill Road.
Impressed with Jaiden’s involvement, the East Brunswick Township presented him with a certificate of appreciation during Monday’s council meeting.

“I was amazed that somebody so little, so young, so energetic and so involved really wanted to do something to help his community,” Cohen said.
“That’s an honorable thing to do. And that’s something we respect as leader.”

The township informed Middlesex County of the repairs needed, as Summerhill Rd is a county road.
