Power Outages in East Brunswick Friday

East Brunswick, NJ - Power outages were reported in East Brunswick, Spotswood and Helmetta Friday morning, Jersey Central Power & Light said. They were small pockets of outages, according to the JCP&L, with anywhere from 1-20 customers affected in each town.

Power was reported out in the area of Frost Woods Park in East Brunswick, specifically along Frost Avenue, and by Jamesburg County Park Friday morning. Hundreds lost power in Monmouth County due to the snow Friday.

Wet, heavy snow, which caused tree branches to fall on power lines, was to blame.

East Brunswick is serviced by PSE&G and JCP&L.
