Power Washers Rob East Brunswick Home, Police Say

A man and woman were charged with burglary this week in East Brunswick after they stole items from a home they were hired to power wash.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man and a woman were charged with burglary this week in East Brunswick after they stole items from a home they were hired to power wash, police said.

The home is located on Henry Street in East Brunswick Township, and the homeowner called 911. She said she hired the duo from a power-washing service and left the home for a short time while they were power-washing the residence. When she returned, she observed John Solazzo, 53, of Monroe and Dayna Ochoa-Aragon, 31, of North Brunswick, walking out the back door carrying items out of her home.

She said they had accessed a rear sun room of the home but not the main residence.

Solazzo was charged with burglary and theft, while Ochoa-Aragon was charged with burglary, theft and hindering apprehension. Ochoa-Aragon, the woman, additionally had an outstanding warrant for $10,000 for prostitution out of North Bergen and posted bail. Both were issued summonses and released.
