Reminder: Jax Parade Expected To Cause Traffic Delays Friday
Traffic delays are expected in East Brunswick and South Brunswick because of a parade in the hometown of American Idol contestant Jax.

Traffic delays are expected in East Brunswick and South Brunswick because of a parade in the hometown of American Idol contestant Jax.
The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. at Heavenly Farms Park in East Brunswick. It will be followed by a performance by Jax at the Community Arts Center.

East Brunswick students, the East Brunswick High School Marching Band and Choir, East Brunswick High School Cheerleading and Dance Team, East Brunswick Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts, East Brunswick Fire Department, East Brunswick Rescue Squad and other community groups are expected to be participate in the parade, along with Jax.
South Brunswick police say the parade is expected to cause delays on Route 535 in that township.

In East Brunswick, roads and parks will be closed as follows:
2 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Heavenly Farms, the dog park, and Dideriksen Park
4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dunhams Corner Road, between Cranbury Road and Church Lane
Access to the arts center will only be available from Cranbury Road.
