REPLENISH Food Drive Hits East Brunswick Stop & Shops Saturday
Middlesex County's food distribution organization is collecting canned goods, dry staples, and household supplies to stock shelves.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Middlesex County's REPLENISH food distribution organization will hold a food drive at two local Stop & Shop locations on Saturday, April 25, collecting non-perishable food and household essentials for families in need across the county.
The Feeding Our Families Food Drive runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:
- Stop & Shop East Brunswick, 647 Route 18 South
- Stop & Shop Monroe Township, 1600 Perrineville Road
The drive is organized in collaboration with Stop & Shop, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and NBC 4 New York. REPLENISH supports more than 150 partner agencies across Middlesex County.

Organizers are requesting food items that are high in fiber and low in fat, sugar, and sodium. Accepted donations include:
- Canned chicken, canned meats, and tuna fish
- Dry beans (red, black, and pinto)
- Low-sugar fruits packed in juice
- Pasta, rice, and tomato sauce
- Low-sodium stew and vegetables
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Diapers, wipes, and paper products
- Soap, shampoo, and toothpaste
Residents who cannot attend the food drive can drop off non-perishable donations year-round at the REPLENISH Distribution Center, 28 Kennedy Boulevard, Edison, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to noon. Monetary donations can be made by check payable to "Feeding Middlesex County," mailed to PO Box 781, Edison, NJ 08818, or online at feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.
