Sayreville Police Host Dec. 6 Meeting On Opioid Abuse

5:30 p.m. at the Sayreville Senior Center (423 Main St.) Medical professionals and narcotics officers will be there to answer your questions

SAYREVILLE, NJ — This Thursday night, Dec. 6 the Sayreville police department will hold a meeting to educate local residents on the opiate epidemic.

This training is free and will be offered tomorrow Thursday, December 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sayreville Senior Center at 423 Main Street. Medical professionals, narcotics officers and prevention experts will be present to answer your questions and provide attendees with the knowledge to identify opioid use and how we are combating the crisis.

"Our community is struggling with prescription abuse, opioids and addiction," said Sayreville police in a statement. "Join us for free program tomorrow night."
