Seniors: Emergency rescue mortgage assistance available

Middlesex County Office on Aging announces help

Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance (ERMA)
Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance (ERMA) program from the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) is intended to assist homeowners with mortgage and other housing costs that may have occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ERMA program provides up to $35,000 in assistance to cover mortgage arrearages and other housing cost delinquencies for eligible homeowners negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) has teamed up with the Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services at 732-745-3295 to increase public awareness of services and opportunities for county seniors, the disabled, and their caregivers.
