Shoplifting Arrest At East Brunswick Walmart

Police said the stolen merchandise, which totaled $1,261.22, consisted of clothing, baby formula, cosmetics and a bicycle.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Four people were arrested last Thursday, July 26, and charged with shoplifting from the Rt. 18 Walmart in East Brunswick, police said.

The alleged shoplifting happened at 4:08 a.m. Thursday: Police were called to the Walmart for a report of shoplifting where four people fled the store with merchandise. Store security said three men and one woman fled the store and left the area in a blue Toyota Corolla with New York plates.

A short time after, Ptl. Ryan Welch and Ptl. Christian Rodriguez observed a blue Toyota Camry matching that description pulling into the parking lot of Studio 6, a nearby motel on Rt. 18. Police pulled the car over.

Police said they could see in plain view merchandise that still had store tags on them throughout the vehicle. Police said the merchandise, which totaled $1,261.22, consisted of clothing, baby formula, cosmetics and a bicycle.

All four occupants, Daniel Arias-DeLarosa, 21, Perth Amboy, Rayniel Ortega, 27, New York, NY, Saida Mamudoski, 22, of the Bronx and Dionis Blandino, 24, New York, NY, were charged with shoplifting and possession of stolen property. Additionally, Mamudoski was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Arias-Delarosa, Ortega and Blandino were released on their own recognizance. Mamudoski was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center due to her warrant
