Spotswood Man Dies After Car Fire
The 42-year-old man succumbed to burn injuries after his car caught fire on Brunswick Avenue Monday.

Spotswood, NJ - On Monday, Patch reported that an unidentified Spotswood man was severely injured in a car fire that broke out on Brunswick Avenue in Spotswood. On Wednesday morning, it has been reported that the man succumbed to his burn injuries and died, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor, who is investigating the death.
The man's car caught fire Monday on Brunswick Avenue and he sustained major burns. He was rushed by Medevac helicopter to the Burn Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, where he was in critical condition before he died Monday night. The man was 42 years old, was the sole occupant of the car and his name has not been released.
Police think the cause of the car fire was mechanical and accidental, reports NJ.com. It remains under investigation.
