Stadium Track Work To Be Completed This Week In East Brunswick Schools
The track is expected to be ready ahead of the school district's second home football game on Friday.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick Schools recently hosted its first home football game at the new and updated stadium.
And the new tracks are expected to be completed by this week, Superintendent Victor Valeski informed the community during the Sept. 22 Board of Education meeting.
“I must say that the community really enjoyed the stadium at our first home football game and the turf looked fantastic,” Valeski said.

“So, give us another week and it's going to look much better for our second home game which is coming this next Friday.”
Last year, many student-athletes and parents expressed concerns over the many cancellations due to the replacement work. There was an interruption during the spring season, which proved to be a hindrance, especially for student-athletes with scholarships.

Bernardo Giuliana, Asst. Superintendent/Board Secretary said he was looking forward to “this project finally coming to a close.”
