Trader Joe's Coming To North Brunswick
Breaking: Trader Joe's is opening in what used to be the Barnes and Noble in the North Village Shopping Center off Rt. 1.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Yes, it's true: A Trader Joe’s grocery store will be opening in North Brunswick soon, North Brunswick Mayor Frank Womack announced.
Mayor Womack made the announcement on the Township's Facebook page Tuesday. Trader Joe’s will be opening in what used to be the Barnes and Noble in the North Village Shopping Center off Rt. 1. There is currently a Bed Bath & Beyond, Michaels and Staples in that shopping complex.
When the Barnes & Noble closed earlier this year, Michael C. Hritz, director of North Brunswick's Department of Community Development, said they were "disappointed," but also hinted at "high expectations for some highly desirable new tenants."
