Two Suspects Loose in Sayreville After Police Chase

State Police chased two suspects on foot off Exit 126 near Sayreville on the Garden State Parkway.

Sayreville, NJ - Two suspects were last seen in the Sayreville area after state police chased them up the Garden State Parkway Wednesday night, followed by a foot chase.

New Jersey State Police responded to an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon in Seaside Heights, reports NJ.com. The pursued a 2016 Kia Forte from the robbery, seen driving on the Garden State Parkway.

But the car refused to pull over when police turned their lights on.

The Kia stopped at Exit 126 in Sayreville, and four people got out of the car and ran away on foot. A foot chase ensued, and police caught two of the men: a 16-year-old teen and a 20-year-old Elizabeth man.

The other two men were not caught and remain at large.
