Unlocked Cars Entered in East Brunswick
Always lock your car doors, East Brunswick police say, even if it's parked right in front of your house or in your driveway.

East Brunswick, NJ - A man went into several unlocked cars parked near Merrill Avenue Thursday morning in East Brunswick, police said.
The vehicles were parked on Merrill Avenue, Lois Avenue, Mansfield Avenue, Quincy Road, Valley View Road and Highview Road. He only entered unlocked vehicles, police said, and removed numerous items from the cars, including loose change and backpacks.
Police periodically see a rash of car break-ins throughout the year, East Brunswick officers said.

One resident’s surveillance camera caught video of the suspect, seen above. He is described as possibly a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build and was wearing jeans, dark sneakers, a light colored or gray hooded sweatshirt, a light colored backpack and work gloves with a dark stripe on them. The image was observed through a night vision camera so the colors description could be of a different color.
