Volunteers Needed For North Brunswick Domestic Violence Response

The North Brunswick Police Department's Domestic Violence Response Team is in need of new volunteers.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The North Brunswick Police Department's Domestic Violence Response Team is in need of new volunteers! Team members work in conjunction with police officers to support and guide victims to services at the moment of crisis.

The next scheduled training session begins on April 24.

The following requirements must be met in order to join:

  • Application submission
  • Interview with team leader
  • Completion of 40 hours of classroom training
  • Completion of up to 10 hours of supervised activity with an experienced team member
  • Availability for designated on call nights/hours during each month
  • Ability to go to the Police Department at any overnight hour if necessary
