Who Has The $1 Million N.J. Lottery Ticket?
Lottery officials have been waiting nearly a week for the purchaser to step forward.

Lottery officials are awaiting the $1 million-prize New Jersey winner whose ticket matched the 5 white balls from the Friday Mega Millions drawing to step forward.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option it would have been worth $3 million, said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director.
The $1 million winning ticket was sold in Hudson County at New Bergen Bread & Butter at 529 Bergen Ave. in Jersey City. The jackpot rolls to $25,000,000 for the next drawing that will be held on Tues., Sept. 22.

There were 14 players whose tickets matched the 4 white balls making each ticket worth $500. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option making it worth $1,500.
Moreover, 68,579 other New Jersey players took home $126,687 in prizes ranging from $1 to $150, according to Hedinger.
“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
The winning numbers for the Fri., Sept. 18 drawing were: 17, 34, 35, 51 and 65. The Gold Mega Ball was 07, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $25,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Tues., Sept. 22 at 11:00 pm.
