For both parents and kids, it can be a long summer at home. Parents are concerned with ensuring that their children are safe, supervised, and engaged in activities that keep their minds and bodies active. Youngsters eagerly anticipate the free time and simply want to have fun and learn something new. Raritan Valley YMCA day camp programs offer a solution designed to keep everyone happy! At the Raritan Valley YMCA day camp, campers ages 5-13 enjoy a broad range of age-appropriate programs, events and activities, including daily swim lessons, free STEM, nature, sports and games, fitness, arts and crafts, team building, reading activities, and special events.
In addition to the range of activities offered at Raritan Valley YMCA day camp, parents also have the flexibility of enrolling their youngsters in one-week sessions that suit their needs. “YMCA programs are designed to meet the needs and schedules of today’s busy families,” said Brenda Dempsey, Director. The YMCA camp runs June 2 - August 2th with hours from 7am-6pm.“No other organization is better positioned to help young people experience outdoor camp activities, make friends, and have fun during summer months than America’s YMCAs,” said Dempsey. “We encourage parents and kids to experience our commitment to childcare through the camp program.
