MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Some of the region's top high school football programs will compete later this month when the New York Jets host their seventh annual Nike 11-ON Tournament fueled by Gatorade at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
The two-day event, scheduled for June 26-27, will feature 16 high school teams from New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut competing in a traditional 7-on-7 football tournament. Participation is free for all invited schools, and each athlete will receive Jets-branded shorts as part of the event.
Tournament play begins Friday, June 26, with four pool-play sessions running throughout the day. Playoffs are set for Saturday morning, June 27, followed by the championship game at 1 p.m.
According to the Jets, the winning school will be recognized on the field during a New York Jets preseason game at MetLife Stadium. Fans can follow tournament results and standings online throughout the competition.
Participating schools include A. Philip Randolph, Butler, Central, Ramapo, Bridgewater-Raritan, Fairfield Ludlowe, Midwood, Union, Curtis, Montclair, Paramus Catholic, Plainfield, Caldwell, DeWitt Clinton, Passaic and Monsignor Farrell.
Tournament Schedule:
Friday, June 26
Saturday, June 27
The tournament will be held at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center, located at 1 Jets Drive in Florham Park.
The event is part of the Jets' ongoing efforts to grow the game of football through youth outreach initiatives and community programming across the tri-state area. The organization says its football programs help provide opportunities, training, and equipment to young athletes while promoting safe participation in the sport.
