Armed Robbery At Five Guys In East Hanover, Police Say
Police say he used a knife to threaten employees.
EAST HANOVER, NJ — A robber wielding a knife stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the East Hanover Five Guys Saturday night, police said in a statement.
Police say the man entered an unlocked back door around 10:33 p.m., after the restaurant had closed for the night. He allegedly threatened four employees with a knife before taking an undisclosed sum of cash. None of the employees were hurt.
He fled out the back door, and police were unable to locate him. He was described by police as "a heavier set black male wearing a plaid shirt, baseball hat, gloves and a mask covering the lower part of his face."
