Bomb Scare At FDU During Finals Week: Florham Park Police
The scare was nothing more than a scare, police said.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — Police responded to a suspicious package on the Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham campus Wednesday evening. It was not a bomb, Florham Park police said in a statement.
A suspicious package near the Zen Building was reported to Florham Park Police at 5:13 p.m. on Wednesday. The caller said they believed it was possibly a bomb.
Police and FDU Public Safety secured the area, and the Morris County Sheriff's Bomb Squad determined the item was not an explosive device. The area surrounding the cafeteria was reopened before 8 p.m., police said.

The scare came in the middle of finals week. The semester ends this Saturday, and graduation is the following Tuesday.
