Whippany Park High School February Student of the Month – Samantha Tutiven
Whippany Park High School recognizes Class of 2013 member Samantha Tutiven as February Student of the Month.

Described as "living proof of the adage 'forget yourself and others will never forget you,'" senior Samantha Tutiven has been named as Whippany Park High School's February Student of the Month. As one Whippany Park faculty member puts it, Samantha is "someone who goes above and beyond in order to succeed in all that she does." She stands out for her gentle nature, unassuming personality, and strong work ethic.
Samantha's dedication to Whippany Park's athletic and co-curricular communities shows she is responsible and industrious. A four-year member of the volleyball team, Samantha served this past fall as a co-captain, and she's participated in Whippany Park's basketball, track, and softball programs as well. Samantha's also a committed member of several Whippany Park organizations: Future Educators of America, a club for young people interested in exploring teaching as a career; Interact, the school's service organization which works closely with the Whippany Rotary club; and Varsity Club, which promotes and supports athletic programs.
As a student, Samantha has met with continued success, achieving strong grades in rigorous classes and earning multiple designations on the honor roll. According to one of her teachers, she "was always one of the first to step in my classroom and arrive with buckets of zest and enthusiasm. There was not a day that went by during which she did not offer to help another student or hesitate to give them praise." For the last four years, Samantha has been an asset in the classroom and an overall indispensable member of the Whippany Park community, making her a deserving choice for Student of the Month.
