Whippany Park High School has selected senior Albert Park as March Student of the Month.

Whippany Park High School has selected senior Albert Park as the March 2013 Student of the Month. Albert is an outgoing, charismatic, and optimistic student leader. A highly motivated and self-assured individual, he is an active participant and positive influence in many areas of school life. His creative talents, conscientious nature, and sense of commitment have contributed greatly to his success.
In the academic realm, Albert has excelled with a rigorous course load of Honors and Advanced Placement classes, resulting in multiple designations on Whippany Park’s Distinguished Honor Roll. He is also a member of the SAT 800 Club, an AP Scholar, and a National Merit Finalist.
A versatile student, Albert demonstrates commitment to school and community through his extensive involvement and leadership in several activities. Albert is the Student Government Association’s school Vice President. He is the President of S.E.E.K., Whippany Park’s environmental club, and President of the Junior Statesmen of America, an organization that discusses and debates the current social and political issues of the day. In addition, he is Vice President of the Math Club. Albert also serves as a captain of the Forensics and Debate Team and as a technical editor for Whippany Park’s literary magazine, Etcetera.

A four-year participant in Whippany Park’s tennis program, Albert is currently captain. His participation in the Future Business Leaders of America resulted in his placing nationally in the National Leadership Conference. Furthermore, Albert is involved is the Asian Awareness Club, Mock Trial Team, and the Academic Team. He has been recognized as a Boys State Delegate, a Character Counts recipient, and a Youth Advisory Council participant.
With his impressive resume and friendly and caring demeanor, Albert is a deserving recipient of this recognition.
