Whippany Park High School Senior Daniel Linfante Named Morris County Scholar Athlete

Based on athletic ability, scholarship, and citizenship, Daniel Linfante was selected as a Morris County Scholar Athlete.

Whippany Park High School senior Daniel Linfante has been recognized by the Morris County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame as a Morris County Scholar Athlete. Daniel was honored at the chapters’ annual Scholar Athlete Awards Dinner on April 17, 2013 at the Madison Hotel.

Daniel was chosen for this award based upon his athleticism on the football field, his scholarship in the classroom, and his exceptional leadership and character within the school community. According to Varsity football coach Todd Callaghan, “Daniel Linfante is an outstanding individual and athlete. He has the type of work ethic and approach to sports, academics, and life that any coach and/or teacher respects and admires. Daniel is respected and valued by the entire Whippany Park Community.” 

Daniel’s diverse accomplishments mark him as a true representative of the Scholar Athlete. His academic prowess is demonstrated by his presence on the High Honor Roll and membership in the National Honor Society, and his GPA and SAT scores are also impressive. Furthermore, Daniel’s commitment to citizenship and community involvement was demonstrated by his participation in the One Day One School Community Service Day at Whippany Park High School.
