Career Carnival for Kids Brings “All Careers Tour" to Parsippany Library
Hands-on Career Exploration Event for Kids and Families
Families in Parsippany and surrounding communities are invited to the "All Careers Tour," a hands-on program designed to introduce young people to a variety of exciting professions in a fun and engaging way. This free event will take place at the Parsippany Library (449 Halsey Road, Parsippany) on Saturday, November 14 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and is perfect for kids in grades 3-8, with plenty of options for older and younger attendees too.
Children, families, educators, and community members will meet Career Guides who will help "spark career curiosity" as kids delve into healthcare with AMG Florham Park Pediatrics; gain insight into architecture with AIA NJ EPiC; tackle technology with Code Ninjas-Denville; calculate career options with Math Imagined; explore engineering with NJIT ASCE and Picatinny STEM; investigate public safety with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and Parsippany Police; notice nutrition with ShopRite of Parsippany; learn how products get from one place to another with Association for Supply Chain Management; discover various facets (and faucets!) of water with AWWA NJ and Culligan; survey the great outdoors with Riamede Farm, Rutgers Graduate Entomology Student Association (GESA), Morris County Mosquito Control, and Morris County Shade Tree; and check out Morris County 4H’s many offerings.
Registration is encouraged (not required): https://careercarnivalforkids.com/upcoming-events/.
Special thanks to Atlantic Health, Code Ninjas-Denville, AIA NJ EPiC, Math Imagined, and ShopRite of Parsippany for their generous sponsorship and to the Parsippany Library for hosting this special program.
