Dogs Have Their Day at Mutts Mania
Ice-T among record crowd of more than 1,300 and 600 dogs at 12th annual event.

The Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter's annual Mutts Mania event Sunday attracted more than 1,300 people and more than 600 dogs. It was the highest attendance in the event's 12 years.
The event featured multiple pet contests, and a highlight of the day was a canine couture fashion show sponsored by Sent-Well. Dogs of all kinds came out to strut their stuff in front of a celebrity panel of judges, including superstar Ice-T, Coco with their supermodel dogs, Spartacus & Maximus, Elisa Jimenez from Project Runway and Karen Biehl from NYC life's Doggie Moms.
The judges selected the top three dogs in the best outfits, with the Best in Show dog receiving a basket.
