Delvescovo, a 2004 graduate of Hanover Park Regional High School, said her love for dance was born at age three, when she started studying with instructor Gail DeSantis.
DeSantis was more than a teacher—she was a mentor for the girl, who began assisting the instructor with classes from the ages of 12 through 17, when Delvescovo started teaching her own classes at DeSantis' studio.
