East Hanover Man Charged After Police Discover Ghost Guns In Car

Cefalu is currently being held in Morris County Correctional Facility.

FLORHAM PARK, NY —An East Hanover man was arrested and charged after police found a ghost gun and other weapons inside his vehicle.

Frank Cefalu, 53, of East Hanover, faces a slew of weapons charges including possession of a firearm with intent to use it against a person or property, unlawful possession of a handgun, among others.

Cefalu was initially arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and harassment after police responded to a Florham Park home for an attempted break in on May 31.

Officers stopped Cefalu's vehicle after they determined it may have been involved in the incident.

Following the 53-year-old's arrest, police obtained a warrant to search the vehicle where they found the illegal weapons.
