Fireworks, DJ Coming To Lurker Park For East Hanover's July 4 Celebration

EAST HANOVER, NJ — East Hanover will light up the sky for Independence Day with the township's annual fireworks celebration at Lurker Park on Saturday, July 4.

The festivities at 631 Ridgedale Ave. begin with a DJ at 7 p.m., with fireworks to follow at dusk. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

This year's celebration carries extra weight: July 4, 2026, marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, with communities across New Jersey and the country planning expanded festivities for the semiquincentennial.
