Florham Park Man Was Drunk During Car Crash: Police
The crash occurred within 1,000 feet of a school, police said.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ— A Florham Park man was allegedly drunk when his car struck a utility pole, Florham Park Police said in a press release.
Robert E. Manion, 65, struck a utility pole just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 8. The responding officer reported smelling alcohol and seeing signs of intoxication.
Field sobriety tests indicated Manion was intoxicated, and a breath test confirmed, police said. He was not injured in the crash.

Manion was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI within 1,000 feet of a school, and reckless driving.
He was released to a responsible adult pending a municipal court date.
