Violinists from across the county were recognized for their talent and dedication to the performing arts.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — A Florham Park student violinist was recognized as a Mayo Performing Arts Center's Music Students of the Month onstage this past Saturday.
Students were nominated by teachers, and selected by the Theatre's Education Department for dedication and excellence in the performing arts. Students will be invited to preform in a year-end recital in June.
Emma Daly, a seventh grader at Ridgedale Middle School, was nominated by Michael Leone. Here's what Leone had to say about Daly:

Emma began her violin experience at our middle school as in incoming sixth grader who was quiet, understated, and finding herself. In the span of a year she has become a confident leader in our ensemble who leads by example. She is always willing to help others, and she has some of the best manners that I've seen in a middle school student. Her dedication to being prepared and to being a strong contributor to our strings program sets her apart from others, as well as strengthens those around her.
