Prosecutor: Bullet Jammed When Woman Tried Killing Ex-Husband in Morris County
New York woman charged with attempted murder after violating a restraining order, report says.

A New York woman under a restraining order against her ex-husband tried killing him in his Montville home this week, but the bullet jammed inside the gun.
According to nj.com, Lynn Wilson, 51, entered her ex-husband’s Morris County home with a loaded .22 caliber Beretta handgun and said she was looking for the man’s current girlfriend.
At that point she aimed at her ex-husband and pulled the trigger, the report said, but the bullet “lodged in the barrel of the firearm.” One of Wilson’s sons, who was in the home, punched her in the arm to get the gun loose while she struggled with her ex-husband, the report said.
