Student Charged With Arson At Fairleigh Dickinson: Florham Park Police

Police say the student lit a roll of toilet paper on fire.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ— A Fairleigh Dickinson University student was charged with arson after police say he lit a roll of toilet paper on fire.

A roll of toilet paper was wedged between a pipe and the ceiling on the third floor of dorm and lit on fire, Florham Park Police said in a statement. The March 24 fire set off smoke detectors, creating a "smoke condition" that required police and fire department response.

Armani D. Walker, 20, from Willingboro, was arrested and charged with arson. He was released with a pending court date.
