EAST HANOVER, NJ — UPDATE: An East Hanover teen reported missing last week has been found and is safe, her mother, Susie Seale, told Patch Monday morning. You can read the original article below.
An East Hanover teen has gone missing, and her grandmother is desperately searching for her.
Amanda Rose Peterson, 17, was last seen at the On The Run Gas Station on Route 46 in Parsippany on either April 25 or 26. Her grandmother, Rose Anne Gingerelli, told Patch that no one has heard from her since then, and she has filed a missing persons report with the East Hanover Police Department. (East Hanover Police declined to comment, citing Peterson's age.)

Peterson does not have a phone, Gingerelli said, and she's not sure if she's posted on social media, but that none of her friends have heard from her. She told Patch that Peterson's younger sister hasn't heard from her either, something out of character for the 17-year-old.
"No matter what" she would talk to her little sister, Gingerelli said.

Gingerelli wasn't sure what Peterson was last seen wearing. Peterson is 5'4" tall and 112 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes (pictured above). She does not go by any nicknames.
