Congratulations to Anthony Campesi and Alison Gleichmann.

Senior Anthony Campesi is a hardworking, self-motivated, and confident student leader.  Campesi has been described by a Whippany Park faculty member as an “extremely dedicated and responsible young man.”  In the academic realm, Campesi has challenged himself with rigorous honors and advanced placement courses, resulting in multiple designations on Whippany Park’s honor roll.  Campesi’s hard work and ability are evidenced by his achievement as a member of the SAT 800 club, and second place winner in the Merck Science Competition.  In the extracurricular realm, Campesi has been a four-year member of the marching band and jazz ensemble.  He has also participated in wind ensemble, stage crew, and Whippany Park’s award winning robotics club.  Campesi’s commitment to leadership and service is evident; he is a member of the National Honors Society and has attained the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.

Alison Gleichmann, a senior at Whippany Park, is a self-disciplined, motivated, and dedicated student leader who has worked hard at balancing her academic, extracurricular, and community commitments.  Gleichmann was described by a Whippany Park faculty member as “a leader on and off the field who is respected by her peers, teachers, and coaches.”  Gleichmann has challenged herself academically through enrollment in honors and advanced placement courses, resulting in multiple designations on the school’s distinguished honor roll.  Gleichmann, a caring and genuine student athlete, has been a four-year member of the field hockey and softball teams.  She is also an active participant in Future Business Leaders of America, the Spanish and Varsity Clubs, and the Peer Buddies program.  Gleichmann has also shown dedication to volunteerism through her participation in the National Honors Society and through her recognition as a H.O.B.Y. ambassador and a Prudential Spirit of Community President’s Volunteer Service Award recipient.
