2 Men Charged With Assaulting, Robbing Taxi Driver In East Windsor

The two East Windsor residents fled on foot but were apprehended by police and placed under arrest, authorities said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Two 19-year-old East Windsor residents were charged with robbing and assaulting a taxi driver, police said.

Isaiah Trias was charged with robbery, aggravated assault and theft, and Dylan P. Sanguiliano was charged with robbery and theft.

On Monday, around 11:33 p.m., officers responded to Canterbury Court for a reported robbery. According to police, Trias and Sanguiliano summoned a taxi, and when they entered it, physically assaulted the driver and stole approximately $80.

They then fled on foot, but were apprehended by police and placed under arrest, authorities said.

Both are currently placed at the Mercer County Correctional Facility pending court action.
