$23,200 In Narcotics, Cash Seized In Mercer Co. Drug Bust
Kenyatta Pinkston, 51, faces multiple 1st- and 2nd-degree charges after investigators searched his car and Trenton home, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A weeklong narcotics investigation resulted in one arrest and the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of approximately $23,200, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey said Wednesday.
The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration and police departments in Ewing and Hamilton townships, obtained a search warrant for a residence on New Willow Street in Trenton belonging to Kenyatta Pinkston, 51.
On March 26, Pinkston was stopped in Ewing in his 2010 Hyundai Elantra. A search of the vehicle and his Trenton residence turned up approximately 180 grams of ecstasy, oxycodone, amphetamine and Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia and approximately $2,300 in cash, Marbrey said.

Prosecutors estimate the street value of the seized narcotics at approximately $21,000 for the ecstasy and $2,200 for the assorted pills.
Pinkston was charged with multiple first- and second-degree narcotics offenses. The prosecutor's office has filed a motion to detain him pending trial.
