5 DUIs Between Nov. 24-30 In East Windsor: Police Blotter
All five drivers were charged with DUI and other offenses.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ – The East Windsor Police blotter contained the following reports:
On Nov. 24, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Abbington Drive after a vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, a 25-year-old East Windsor resident, exhibited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests, police said. The driver was charged with DUI , reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. The driver was released pending court action..
On Nov. 24, at 11:21 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Milford Road after a vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, a 30-year-old East Windsor resident exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver was charged with DUI, reckless driving and other offenses and later released pending court action..

On Nov. 26 at 3:49 p.m., police responded to the area of Avon Drive East on a report of a vehicle off the roadway. According to investigation, the vehicle was traveling on Route 33,,left the road and struck a parked vehicle on Avon Drive. The driver, a 35-year-old East Windsor resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, police said. He was later released pending court action.
On Nov. 27, at 12:57 a.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Abbington Drive after observing a vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was charged with DUI, reckless driving and other offenses after failing field sobriety tests.. He was released pending court action.

On Nov. 27, at 1”06 a.m., conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 133 after observing the vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. The driver showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. The 65-year-old Englishtown resident was later released pending court action.
