The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
On Aug. 13, at 5;10 p.m., an officer arrested a Westampton resident for driving under the influence following an investigation for a motor vehicle collision. Additionally, the 29-year-old was found to be in possession of prescription drugs. The man was charged on a complaint summons and released in accordance with John's Law.
On Aug. 14 at 8:54 a.m., the New Jersey State Police requested that an officer check the area for a stolen vehicle. The officer found the vehicle and subsequently placed the Woodbine, NJ resident under arrest for receiving stolen property. The 18-year-old was charged on a complaint summons and turned over to the custody of the New Jersey State Police.
On Aug. 15 at 1:21 a.m., an officer arrested a Monroe, NJ resident for driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop. The 44-year-old was released in accordance with John's Law.
On Aug. 15, at 2:55 a.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor for driving under the influence after investigating a report of a driver who fell asleep behind the wheel. The 45-year-old was released in accordance with John's Law.
On Aug. 15 at 1:14 p.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for a New Brunswick warrant after receiving a request to serve the defendant from the New Brunswick Police. The 46-year-old was turned over to the custody of the New Brunswick Police.
On Aug. 16, at 2:13 a.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for a West Windsor warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 25-year-old was released after posting bail.
On Aug. 17 at 10:15 a.m., an officer responded to a residence on Rembrandt Way for a report of an individual breaking into the home. When police arrival, the East Windsor resident fled the area on foot. The 30-year-old caused approximately $2000 worth of damage to the front door and a garden lantern. Officers searched the area and located the suspect nearby. The suspect was placed under arrest after a brief struggle, transported to police headquarters, processed, and transported to Mercer County Corrections.
On Aug. 18 at 9 a.m., a suspect was charged on a complaint summons pending court action for a shoplifting offense. The charges stem from a Aug. 6 incident, when an officer responded to Walmart for a report of a theft of an electric scooter valued at $800. The case was assigned to a detective who identified the suspect.
