• The Church of Latter Day Saints Donates More Than $50,000 Worth of Food to The Rise Food Pantry (tapinto.net) — East Windsor officials are highlighting a major boost to local food security after The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated more than $50,000 in food to the Rise Food Pantry. Serving East Windsor, Hightstown and Mercer County, Rise will use the tractor-trailer load to support families in need and build supplies for its upcoming Thanksgiving drive, alongside a new refrigerator truck from Whole Foods.
   

• East Windsor Police Arrest Drunk Driver in MV Stop As Statewide 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' Campaign Continues (tapinto.net) — East Windsor police charged a Hillside man with multiple offenses after determining he was driving under the influence during a 2:10 a.m. stop on Route 133 West on August 22. The arrest comes as local officers participate in New Jersey's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign, which runs through Labor Day and targets alcohol- and drug-impaired drivers statewide.
